offered by GÖTTFERT as an optional Add-on for the series of capillary rheometer it is possible to study rheological material parameters with low material quantities under process-related conditions.

In particular, with this Add-on the pressure dependence of the viscosity at a temperature up to 400 °C (option 500 °C) can be determined. The pressure coefficient as well as the critical wall shear stress for wall sliding is determined up to a pressure of 200MPa. The graph shows flow curves at different counter pressures, as well as the pressure-invariant master curve. The counter pressure chamber offered by GÖTTFERT enables users in process optimization to optimize flow processes in processing machines such as injection moulding, extrusion tools and melt pumps.
