Better than ISO 1133

All our melt index testers are equipped with a fast and precise temperature control with two heating circuits. Time-stability and accuracy of the temperature distribution in the test channel are thus significantly better than required by the current ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238! The particularly strict Part 2 of ISO 1133:2011 requires a temperature profile of maximally +/- 0.3°C at a distance of up to 70 mm in front of the capillary. These high accuracy requirements are far exceeded by all current GÖTTFERT plastometers.
