LAOS

Large Amplitude Oscillatory Shear (LAOS) is a widely used easy-to-use method to characterize the nonlinear material response, providing much higher selectivity. In the LAOS test, a sample is excited with a simple sinusoidal large excursion. The response signal is not a simple sinusoidal signal with a correspondingly large excursion.
